We’re planning to put together a series of guides on BDSM topics, so some nice toys will come in handy for these games. I’ve picked out some simple whips, a “tickler,” and nipple clamps. We’ve already tested other necessary accessories, such as handcuffs (leather or metal).

Erotic BDSM accessories reviewed

We are currently testing ropes for bondage; hopefully the review will be ready soon.

Mini whips

Mini whips look fairly innocent. They are 57 cm long, including the purple tassels. These are made of soft rubber. A lash across the skin stings rather than hurts. For the sub, it’s more of a pleasant surprise (when blindfolded) than a severe punishment. However, you don’t have to use them just to punish and inflict “pain.” You can simply lightly run them over the skin and let the other person squirm—they don’t know when you’ll strike. The waiting will be quite agonizing.

For a stronger effect, you need to use significant force or use the other end of the paddle. The black plastic handle can be used for harsher punishments – a swat across the buttocks is really noticeable and leaves marks on the skin.

Even after prolonged use, the tassels do not detach from the paddle. During six months of testing, they survived quite a few strikes, so durability is good.

Red Grouse Tickler

If today’s first toy was on the border between punishment and pleasure, then the capercaillie tickler is more for teasing. The soft feathers, just like the purple tassels on the paddle, are attached to the widened end of the plastic handle.

You can lightly run the feathers/down over the body, tickle sensitive spots, or just tease. For punishment, you can use the entire plastic handle, which is slightly flexible. It makes a nice whistling sound through the air—though, of course, it’s no match for a cane.

Nipple Clamps

Probably today’s most interesting accessory for BDSM play. They are primarily designed for nipples, which you can pleasantly (or even harshly) squeeze with delicate clamps. They are made of bent sheet metal, but the ends and the clamping jaws are rubber-coated—allowing for safe use.

The jaws of the Alligator clamps (a dangerous-sounding name, but they don’t actually “bite”) are relatively long, so even women with larger nipples won’t be deprived of this experience. To adjust the pressure, the clamps have a locking screw that allows you to easily control the jaws. The clamps are connected by a delicate chain.

Using them on the nipples is straightforward—simply lift the breast slightly with your hand to make the nipple easily accessible, then clip one clamp onto it. Place the second clamp on the other nipple in the same way. You can also use them as genital/vaginal clamps, but be careful with the pressure.

The rest of the play is entirely up to your imagination. You can adjust the clamp pressure with a screw, pull on the chain to stimulate the nipples, or replace the pulling with tiny weights. For women with more sensitive nipples, clamps are a solid form of punishment. Vacuum suction cups, which we have tested in the past, have a similar effect on the nipples.

When using clamps, you don’t have to limit yourself to just the nipples – they can also be used on the labia in the groin. Men won’t be left out either – their nipples or testicles have something to look forward to as well – clamps have a wide range of uses.

Hello to you too—and I disagree… a review is supposed to be objective; this is just a product promotion. A review should include comparisons with other types and, above all, an overview of what’s available on the market. I understand you’re not a BDSM portal, but if you’re selling what’s best for beginners, you should explain why.
Then, at your suggestion, someone will think: “Wow, whips are awesome,” go out and buy a beaded one, whip a girl with it once, and she’ll break up with him because she’ll still have marks from it two weeks later.

This was our first time reviewing floggers—so we had nothing to compare them to, which is why the review turned out the way it did (most of our reviews are based on comparisons with previous products, which allows us to better assess whether a given toy or accessory is useful, safe, and helps push sexual boundaries) – Of course, other types of whips have a completely different effect depending on the material, the force of the strike, etc., but we didn’t have those available, so we had nothing to compare the intensity or painfulness to.

And when it comes to whips, I wouldn’t dare try them out on someone else first before trying them on myself—precisely to avoid the situation you described 🙂 But I respect your opinion; I’ve read your posts (I think) on some BDSM forum (or at least someone has a similar username/email), and they made sense, so you’ve likely been in the “field” for a long time.

In the article “What to use to spank someone”—clamps? 😀 😀
It’s true that the topic is very narrow and there’s nothing to write about… or is there?
– canes
– cane switches
– wooden paddles
– leather paddles
– whips
– lashes

…not to mention that the author of the article clearly spoke about canes without specifying which ones he was referring to. Let him come see me, and I’ll personally show him how roughly cut canes can hurt even with minimal force.
And I’m only talking about canes, of which there are also many variations (coral canes, canes with hooks, or metal balls at the ends…) Similarly, one could discuss, for example, cane sticks, the effect of length and thickness on the result…

I recommend firing editor Petr, or at least having him study the basics before he starts writing about anything.

Hello,

The headline was chosen purely to set the mood, and you’re right—it doesn’t make sense. The article itself clearly focuses on one specific type of paddle—the ones that were reviewed (it is a review, in case that wasn’t obvious at first glance). Of course, there are a vast number of spanking tools, but we tested this specific type—and honestly, pain is just pain (from our perspective—I believe spanking enthusiasts would disagree and could write lengthy essays about stinging pain, sharp pain, and so on and so forth).

Fortunately, we don’t position ourselves as a BDSM portal that would lead experienced pain enthusiasts into the deeper recesses and nooks of your favorite BDSM themes, so hopefully the more advanced among you will understand that for beginners, this (our) introductory format is more suitable and easier to digest.
