How did we choose the best anal plugs for 2024?
First, we need to clarify the overall toy selection – for anal plugs, we chose both “dildos” or non-vibrating aids, as well as “vibrators” that are vibrating. Each of these types of aids has its own special shape for anal play. As a rule, it has a larger foot against slipping into the anus (classic straight aids are not recommended for anal play) and a more gradual growth in diameter.

Why trust our ranking
We are the only ones in the country constantly and independently (the server is not run by a toy retailer, we are enthusiasts in our own right) testing sex toys since 2010 and indeed these toys have passed through our hands (not only). We have their own photos, videos. There are bombastic charts of best-selling plugs, but the authors have never seen the toys, never held them in their hands, maybe never owned any toys. We do – we have over 300 real reviews.
We considered the following when making our selection:
- material (surface fineness, cleaning, healthiness),
- features (what it offers compared to the competition, how it irritates you better, …),
- strength/effect on orgasm (or if and how it helps you to orgasm),
- use (can it be used in foreplay, masturbation, or even in couple sex?),

For us, probably the most interesting anal plug of all we’ve had the opportunity to test. The basic (and best) material for these toys is medical grade silicone – a non-porous material that does not age, holds its shape, color, is easy to clean and has a pleasant surface. I bought a Prock once and I’m not very happy with it. I don’t think I’m doing anything wrong. It just slides away. Of course it’s because of the gel, but it’s not worth saving it for anal. So the whole time I was just trying to hold the toy so it wouldn’t slip out and that made the pleasure a complication. I haven’t used it since. So used about 3 times.
But the Fun Factory B-Balls Duo is awesome. They’re bigger, so you have to prep the anal properly and introduce slowly and carefully, but then they’re comfortable to wear (they don’t slip out due to the size) and it’s something crazy during sex. As soon as I started pumping more, I was done right away. And the orgasm was as strong as it has ever been. So I can recommend these.
My wife once teased my anus with the Icicles No.2 (snowman) dildo, which was very interesting and quite pleasurable, but it’s not a classic anal dildo like the ones in the article.

yes, we have been dealing with this with Prock as well – we mentioned it in the final test. We solved it then by lubing it less and wiping our hands after inserting it. It’s also influenced by its shape, which is not tapered to stop at the “foot” like traditional pins. We also have bigger favorites on our list – for me it’s the B-Vibe and the perfect XPander 🙂

I agree that the Icicles has great dildos – we considered putting one in this final 10 too – specifically the Rampouch, but ended up not doing it as it’s not a straight up anal toy. And then it would have gone awry and we could have included, say, classic vibrators that can also be introduced.
