This toy actually scared the hell out of me… It doesn’t look like it in the picture, but when it’s open, the plug is terrifyingly large. And when you imagine that this thing has to get inside you first and then open up inside you, it might remind you of the torture practices in old Spain…
Packaging and Workmanship
The packaging from the brand Black Velvets is understated—it won’t wow you, but it won’t offend you either. It’s a small paper box containing a plastic bag with a plug (referred to by the manufacturer as “anchor”—so is it an anchor anal plug?). It’s made of silicone, so it’s pleasant to the touch, smooth, and velvety soft. There is no packaging for the toy (but that’s to be expected in this price range).
The plug is 9 cm long. When fully extended, it is 8 cm wide, which is insane to me. Fortunately, you don’t have to insert that diameter—that’s the magic of this toy. When in use, it measures 4 cm at its widest point (though that’s still no small feat for many).
It ends with a solid stopper/base, which is good, because pulling it out requires strength and patience. And thanks to this base, it prevents dangerous slipping – with all anal toys, the primary consideration should be the size of this safety base.
In Action – First Time
At first, I wanted to use the plug by myself, but I failed right at the insertion stage. The plug offers quite a bit of resistance, and when your hands and anus are covered in lube, it slips—a lot. I couldn’t get it inside me. Maybe if you put gel only on the tip and skillfully circled it… and had enough patience. Or other types of stretching plugs have a suction cup instead of a base, and that’s also quite helpful during insertion.
Second attempt with a partner
My partner helped with the second attempt. Preparation with at least your fingers is definitely necessary; a 4 cm width is not for beginners. She finally got it inside me, but it certainly wasn’t fun. When the plug expands inside you, it’s a very strange feeling. It’s not as intense as with inflatable plugs, but the width of the expansion immediately after insertion is quite noticeable .
Once it’s inside you, you can spice up the mere act of insertion with vibrations from a massage head, a vibrator, … or simply push it slightly deeper with pressure and let it relax, in and out. That always brings me to my knees. Not to mention when you’re pushing it in and out with those and vibrations …
Pulling the plug out also required a two-person effort; my partner had to pull while I pushed. The stretching is relatively strong due to the stiffness of the silicone—but it really stays in place, and you don’t have to worry about it slipping out on its own. That’s unlikely to happen with these stretching plugs.
All in all
If you enjoy anal play, this is the toy for you, as it offers additional specific stimulation. I must warn you in advance, however, that insertion requires some experience and the ability to relax (though you can make it easier for yourself with slow masturbation, for example).
In any case, it’s a great accessory for preparation before fisting or strap-on play—in other words, the most intense anal practices there are. Alternatively, thanks to its “non-slip” design, it’s the ideal anal plug/dildo for wearing out.
