“I was born in the Šumava Mountains. I’m an Aquarius with Capricorn rising. Ever since I was little, I’ve loved the planet and humanity—down to the very last ‘creature.’ I do everything I can to live a life doing what I enjoy… and I let go of what I don’t enjoy. I’m interested in so many things that one lifetime isn’t enough. And so I look forward to it. I’ve always enjoyed overcoming challenges, especially where they’re least expected and least welcome. I like to observe, explore, and create the most pleasant existence possible, now that I’m here. I accept, harmonize, and attune everything that comes to me, for better or for worse. If it becomes too much, I walk away… I love solitude and peace. I enjoy life, and for that I am happy. Thank you for everything I experience; it is the most precious thing I have. I am grateful for everything I can share with you. I have made many mistakes, and paradoxically, that is what ultimately helped me the most. I caused pain to myself and others… I’m sorry. I’m learning, I’m learning… and I will keep learning as long as I’m here.”
This is how Vladana Augstenová describes herself on her online profile, another of the trained sexual assistants at Rozkoš bez rizika. The journey, however, was not easy. First, in 2012, she became a client of the aforementioned company as an active sex worker, but after just one year, she stopped providing vaginal and oral sex and has since devoted herself to tantra, sexological bodywork, and sexual assistance.
What motivated Vladana? Expanding her practice, experience, and knowledge where needed. She didn’t have to force herself at all; on the contrary, she found joy in uncovering taboos. Even her own family accepted her for who she is. They see her successes and support her at the same time.

What led you to work in sexual assistance?
It was debt that drove me to it. In fact, it was because of them that I started making a living through prostitution six years ago. At that time, I decided to focus on tantric massage and wanted to study sexual energy at a higher level; I was interested in sexual energy healing. Since then, I’ve attended many seminars and training sessions. I completed a year-long training course “Sexological Bodywork” and then participated in two conferences organized by the organization Pleasure Without Risk. One was on the topic of “Violence in the Sex Industry” and the other “From the Sex Industry to the Labor Market.” Guests from the Netherlands also attended, who mentioned, among other things, sexual assistance for people with disabilities.
So that’s where the whirlwind comes from…
Yes, I found that very interesting, and it was clear to me that it was not only about raising awareness but also about expanding my field and further fulfilling my vision of engaging more deeply with this professional work. I would like people to realize how important working with the body is, both for healthy people and for those with disabilities. When they mentioned people with physical disabilities there, I knew it would catch people’s attention and they would pay more attention to it.
What does tantra mean in your understanding?
Tantra is a lifestyle, which I have voluntarily and joyfully embraced. There is already plenty of information online about what tantra is. It’s pointless to repeat it here. For me, this approach to life—based on reverence and respect—is a source of transformation for the body, soul, and mind. It is the development and cultivation of sexual energy to higher levels, where one can encounter the true essence of energy and its potential. To achieve this, I use tantric massages, where the client is solely the recipient. Individual and couples sessions are also available. The intimate ritual is for individuals who are ready to be guided into higher realms. The ritual is also about education and direct practice. It is about the art of both receiving and giving. It does not involve sexual or oral intercourse. Setting intimate boundaries is part of the ritual and takes place on-site during the pre-ritual meeting.
I’m a bit lost here. So what is the difference between tantra and regular sex?
The difference between tantric sex and ordinary sex lies in the focus on the goal. In ordinary sex, we concentrate on positions, on satisfying our partner, on climax, and we use our minds in the process. But this prevents us from reaching higher dimensions of experiencing sexual energy, which is possible with tantra. Here, you enter a state of weightlessness, a transformation of mental, physical, and emotional energy, where you discover that sexual energy is healing and meditative and leaves no frustration behind. Where you can feel free, you stop using your mind; you don’t worry about whether you’ve satisfied someone or they’ve satisfied you. Sexual intercourse within tantra is the culmination of the union of two souls; it is a beautiful ritual. In ordinary sex, you operate only within low energies, which can lead to the development of addictions.

What is meant by sexological bodywork?
Sexological bodywork is one of the disciplines offered by the University of Human Sexuality in California, which has been teaching courses for the first time since 2012 in Prague. The entire approach is guided by the intention to heal sexual energy, and thus the psyche as well (impotence, premature ejaculation, abuse, frigidity, and more…). The client is purely a recipient, and I remain fully clothed throughout the session. I am guided by tantric, Taoist, and shamanic techniques, as well as the light that I have gradually mastered since 2011. IMPORTANT INFO: Each bodywork session requires at least one hour. Additionally, a preparatory consultation BEFORE (at least half an hour) and AFTER the bodywork session, followed by a sharing session (another at least half an hour), are required. The services also include: personal development, that is, guidance toward personal freedom, independence, self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-worth. Furthermore, it involves relaxing the body and mind, dissolving blocks, traumas, fears, shame, anxieties, and prejudices.
What is expected of the client?
Without their decision that they themselves want it… I can do nothing. Every session is authentic and tailored to the client’s current state. When working with the body, I let myself be guided by conscious, controlled touch. I do not provide overtly erotic services at the expense of my own energy. I understand various kinds of requests, thanks to my experience… and depending on the situation, I also have my own boundaries and limits, purely for the sake of effectiveness, protection, and safety for both parties.
Five sexual assistants were trained. What posed a challenge for you during the training for this profession? In theory, in practice?
Personally, nothing posed or poses a problem for me. On the contrary, I was surprised by how much I still don’t know and that there is always more to learn and understand.
All of the trained assistants are women; there are no men. So this is a service for men. Is this service not provided to women?
Unfortunately, it is true that no male assistants were trained. Yet abroad, this is common. In fact, two of them trained us. We’ll have to wait until the next training session… But it’s not true that women with disabilities are being overlooked. There are many women who seek the touch of another woman. And perhaps precisely because they were raped due to their disability, they trust the assistants more…
The service has been officially operating for a year. How would you evaluate it? Where do you see shortcomings, and in what areas has the service made progress?
Everything is going as it should, and everything has its time. More and more clients, clients’ parents, and social workers are showing interest in the service. Thanks to this, the public has become aware of many realities and facts about sexual energy, and not just among people with disabilities. As I have already noted, this involves conscious work with the body, which may or may not include sexual intercourse. Please do not confuse the profession of a sexual assistant with that of a sex worker, even though both are important to people. A sex worker is a prostitute—and there is nothing derogatory in that term. The difference is that while prostitutes try to retain their clients long-term, we, on the other hand, guide our clients toward independence, so that they can manage their sexual energy even without us. A tantric masseuse, for example, can be such a sexual assistant. Moreover, it is a very specific and specialized type of service that takes into account the risks associated with the client’s disability.

How were disabled clients satisfied before the introduction of this profession?
In institutions, there were so-called personal care assistants, who taught clients how to use assistive devices and talked to them about sex, but did not touch them. We, on the other hand, work with the human body; clients have the opportunity to experience some physical interaction with us. It’s about TOUCH. And touching another person is necessary. Such touch helps, but unfortunately we don’t get enough of it. Maybe that’s why we need all those massage therapists, healers… Yes, I also just talked with clients; there didn’t have to be any touching. I know I can awaken a person and help them without it. But I stand by the fact that we need each other. It’s not a problem to provide sexual intercourse, but as I’ve already said, sexual energy can be cultivated—even without sexual intercourse. Well, that’s what tantric teaching is all about…
I can imagine sexual assistance for the physically disabled, but how do you approach the mentally disabled?
Successes are being achieved here as well. The fact is, a mentally disabled client experiences sexual energy just as we do, even though they don’t perceive the reality around them. Unfortunately, precisely because they cannot fully give free rein to it, they often behave aggressively. They do not understand what is happening to them. Colleagues in Germany work mainly with mentally disabled clients and say that they are wonderful, loving beings untouched by the consumerist world. With people with intellectual disabilities, pictures are used, where the client points to what they would like. With people with physical disabilities, it is necessary to determine whether they are capable of erection and orgasm. If they have trouble with that, I adapt in other ways. Often, they just want to be touched…
Sexual assistance services are provided mainly in Prague and the surrounding area, the Brno region, and eastern Bohemia. Are there requests from other places? If so, can you accommodate them?
Requests come from all over the Czech Republic, sometimes even from Slovakia, and I even work abroad.
Where have you provided your services? Do you prefer a specific location—a nursing home, a house, or the client’s apartment?
I work wherever it is possible and requested. Everything is by agreement. I don’t prioritize anything or anyone, but like any professional sex worker, I have boundaries regarding safety and the smooth running of the work—and those are individual.
If you provide this service, are you different from your colleagues in any way? In your approach to the client, sexual techniques, clothing…
The uniqueness in our field stems from the fact that we work with intimacy, and therefore with each client individually and uniquely. I am not different in that sense; my advantage lies in continuous education and ongoing hands-on practice.
Which technique for satisfying a client is most in demand?
There is no clear-cut answer to that. The main thing is that it ultimately brings the client peace, fulfillment, understanding, and self-awareness.

The service is also provided to seniors. Is there a difference between providing the service to people with disabilities and to seniors?
There is no difference between people; we are all in the same boat. We all want to experience love in whatever sense.
How does such a service provided to couples work, if it takes place?
In my case, it involves educational sessions and practical exercises.
Do you use sex toys? We’ve heard that there are, for example: an erotic trampoline, a rocking chair for intercourse, special pillows, and special vibrators…
If the situation calls for it, I also work with aids—there are many of them, and it’s also individual; they aren’t always necessary… But it is true that many companies focus on manufacturing vibrators that are lighter and easier to hold, even for people with weaker grip strength. They take into account practicality, easier maintenance of the devices, and their sensitivity. For people with disabilities, the sensation of vibrations can be much stronger. Commonly used devices with very intense vibrations can therefore be painful for them. There are also special devices that allow men with disabilities to masturbate without using their hands. Women are not left out either. If they cannot reach their crotch due to their disability, they use specially elongated vibrators.
Are there devices that disabled clients can use on their own after some training?
Yes, that is also possible. Of course, after some practice. In addition to the options already mentioned, vibrating underwear and a prostate stimulation device are also available. This is especially appreciated by men who have erectile dysfunction.
The price of 1,200 crowns per session is quite high compared to the pensions that people with disabilities receive. However, it is low compared to sexual services provided among able-bodied people… Are there plans to adjust this amount?
The price is adequate and, in fact, still low from the experts’ perspective. Our education in this field costs a lot of money, and the service is treated like any other. So the client may or may not be able to afford these services. If there have been negative reviews from people, it’s only because they don’t want the state to pay for this service out of taxpayers’ money. It’s impossible to please everyone and everything. Time will tell, and everything is constantly evolving—who knows what the future holds for us all. I believe in a better tomorrow, and I’m an optimist in general.
Are there any other fees?
As already mentioned, twelve hundred is charged for an hour of sexual assistance for people with disabilities, with everything included, but there can also be just a one-hour consultation for five hundred crowns, meaning a consultation without sexual or oral contact. I also provide personal counseling, guidance, and instruction for one thousand crowns per hour; if conducted via Skype, it is half that price. Those requesting tantric massage or sexological bodywork (without sexual or oral contact) will pay two thousand crowns per hour. For an intimate ritual (again, without sexual or oral contact), I charge three thousand crowns.
How can a client be sure of the assistant’s health status?
Good question. I undergo regular health checkups.
The interview can be concluded with a fitting motto that Vladana has listed on the websites http://www.vladana-kristena.cz “Generally speaking, this is another useful step forward. Those who see the point in it will see it… Those who don’t?!… That’s part of life, too. Balancing energies is important for the harmony and development of us all.” It remains to be added that he does not provide services via email or SMS. He accepts orders only by phone, between 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. He also has his own office space. In the event of a visit, he charges for transportation costs.
