Silicone lubricating gels are extremely slippery (more than water lubricants) due to their silicone component. They are therefore suitable for strong wetting of the vagina or just the anus, where this moisturizing gel finds its greatest use. The disadvantages of these gels are that they leave greasy stains on the fabric, cannot be easily washed off with water, and cannot be used with devices that have a silicone surface. Together gel and silicone react and ruin the surface of the toys.
