And Delight from Fun Factory is exactly that kind of toy. When I talk about a design gem, I’m not just spouting empty words. Delight won the Red Dot Award in 2008. The following year, this erotic toy won the prestigious DESIGNPREIS design competition.
To give you an idea, I measured the vibrating toy Delight and it is 15 cm long. The diameter of the individual parts ranges from 2.2 cm to 3.2 cm. Its shape resembles a seahorse. This is emphasized mainly by the S-shaped design of the vibrator and also by the “head,” which serves as a grip for perfect control over the toy. Thanks to this design, the Delight is easy to handle. This head also houses the vibration controls, which we recognize from other Fun Factory vibrators. You’ll learn more about the vibrator’s controls later in the review. So now back to the actual construction of this unconventional bedtime toy.
The head with the controls (just like its body) is made of hard, glossy plastic, which feels very sturdy. In contrast, the other end (which could be likened to a horse’s tail) is made of medical-grade silicone. It feels pleasant to the touch but is also firmer, ensuring intense penetration into your vagina.
Controlling the Fun Factory Delight vibrator is truly simple. There are just two buttons +/-, which allow you to turn the vibrator on, adjust the vibration intensity, or turn it off. These buttons are backlit, so even in pitch darkness or under the covers, I had no trouble controlling the intensity of the vibrations.
I was pleased that it’s a waterproof vibrator—so I can enjoy it in the shower.
But it’s definitely not meant for prolonged submersion in water (bathtub, pool, etc.). Which is definitely a shame, because there are few high-quality vibrators on the market that are 100% waterproof.
What caught our attention most about its shape?
What else makes the Delight interesting? It’s designed to stimulate the pubic area of your crotch, the inner part of the vagina, and the G-spot at the same time. You don’t insert the entire vibrator, just its curved silicone tip. I haven’t come across many products that focus on these sensitive areas of the female body. I was quite pleased by the small protrusion on the silicone tip of the vibrator, which fit perfectly between my labia and hummed against my clitoris. And what about the power supply for the vibrator itself? If you’re worried that you’ll have to keep buying new AA batteries all the time, you’re worrying for nothing. Delight uses the latest technology, so a built-in rechargeable battery is a given.
Charging works using magnetic technology Click ‘N’ Charge. Simply place the charging contacts on the two metal rings on the body of the vibrator and charging begins. So you don’t have to plug any connector into anything—just place the contacts together. How simple. The only downside is that the charger is not included in the package (you must purchase it separately for 140 CZK). Charging the vibrator to full battery capacity takes just 4 hours. After that, it’s ready once again to satisfy your naughty desires and fantasies.
How long does the FF Delight actually last? In my testing, it kept purring for 3–4 hours. On the strongest vibration setting, the vibrator’s battery life naturally decreased to 2.5 hours of intense sensations and orgasms.
The entire Delight package looks very luxurious, and I certainly wouldn’t be embarrassed if I left it sitting on a shelf and had a visitor. You can store the velvety case for Delight anywhere, but preferably near the bed so that if you feel like playing around, it’s not far away.
