To be honest, it is the most controversial toy I have ever had. It has lots of unquestionable positives and believe me, it can be played with endlessly, but the flaws it also possesses can diminish that fun somewhat. So how is this mantis (as we have nicknamed the toy at home) actually?

“It’s a new toy, it’s supposed to be able to suction itself, rotate and it has a vibrating teaser with a tongue for the clitoris.”
“Fine, if you tell me it’s a phaser, I’ll believe you.”
“No, that’s the height of laziness in the all-inclusive edition.”
A bead vibrator that bites!
The Mantis (DeLuxe) is an incredibly pleasurable and nice “vibrator”. Although not made of medical grade silicone, which I personally prefer the most, the material is very nice and soft to the touch. This is not a soft, smelly and god forbid, sticky material as it used to be just a few years ago. It is therefore a mixture that is pleasant and healthy and more like a gel.
This is particularly useful for mantis lizards, which, thanks to the vibrations and their softness, develop a movement like perhaps nothing I have yet known. In addition, in the rotating part they give a fleshy and dense impression.
The material is soft pink and transparent. Far from being tacky, it is interesting and gives a clean impression. Moreover, it caught the attention of my dear half (as a proper home handyman) that he can see all the internal parts moving. Well, you can just see “under the bonnet”.
Yes, the toy is self-powered, but it is not a jackhammer that hits top speed and goes in and out. Since it is also rotary, that motion is coupled into a sort of elliptical axis, so that over-revving is part of the rotation.
Speaking for myself, I have to say that I find this approach more comfortable. I’ve never been a fan of men who get turned on, and the whole coitus is more akin to trying to dig your way into China. On the contrary, the change and variety of movements is what makes the intercourse itself more intense.
Plus, given the large number of programs (9 to be exact for rotation/rotation) with the program flipping the direction of rotation and speed of rotation (and thus impact), the toy sensually turns into a tentacled writhing ball of snakes that spreads and pushes inside, teasing all the sensitive spots.
The clitoris has a lot to look forward to…
Now then, the clitoral teasing protrusion, after which I named the whole toy. It is a vibrating egg encased in a layer of that nice gel material that the whole toy is made of. It is shaped in the form of a mantis with two “tongues” one thicker and stiffer is a sort of tentacle on the head and one very soft and more flexible. Both can be used to tease the clitoris.
With the top one, the onset of orgasm was very fast and intense. With the softer, lower one, it was much more gradual and I enjoyed it more. The speed of the movement is reminiscent of a hummingbird’s wing, and let’s face it, no man can ever achieve such speed and finesse. What was really rocking, though, is the moment when I adjusted my tongues so that the harder one was a little above my clit and the soft one was teasing my clit as if from below. Double stimulation equals a clear ticket to heaven.

What didn’t I like about it?
However, the stumbling block of this very sexy toy is the battery-powered control section. The entire control is made of the most ordinary, ugliest and perhaps worst plastic that could have been chosen. Yes the colour matches very nicely with the body of the toy, but that’s about it. Just trying to load four pencil batteries inside and then closing it up resulted in any erotic desires passing me by.
Due to the depth, the batteries are difficult to remove (not to mention cumbersome to remove and cumbersome to remove) The lid was subsequently very difficult to close and I was, given the material, really worried about it bursting. There is no rubber band or other kind of seal either, so you have to be really careful when washing it off.
And then the controls… The vibration switching system isn’t bad, but the tiny buttons on a flat protruding flat thing that’s supposed to mimic a display with a black background is totally unfortunate. Larger, spatially more pronounced buttons on a curved base would definitely be more comfortable to operate, especially if a woman has to during her own gratification operate it herself.

This toy would definitely deserve it. Better quality material for the controls and bigger buttons!!! If I had to rate the toy in some numerical way it’s 7/10. If the toy is operated by a partner, then 7.5/10. 😉 In any case, I must say that this toy not only pleasantly surprised me, but also excited me. Just the damn controls!
P.S.: A tip for use? Try it with a penetrating or warming lube gel inside and a cooling one (or ice cube when playing) on the clitoris. That’s the bomb!
